Dunkeld Bush Kindergarten began in March 2013 and involves taking the children once every fortnight to experience the Grampians National Park.
The program gives children the opportunity to enjoy nature and learn from it. The sessions are mostly unstructured and only a camping toilet and toilet tent, first aid kit, wet weather clothing and resource box is taken on the trips. The bush kinder program also teaches the children about biodiversity, protection of the environment and building respect for the land.
